AKS’s Carolina Rebel Daze MH; “Sport” 

Sport is an AKC Master Hunter, he is 72 pounds with handsome good looks.  His coat is very thick.  It is a light to medium yellow color.  His ears are a deeper color.  He has very dark pigment around his eyes.  He has a nice head and blocky build.  He has exceptional marking ability, and is very trainable.  He has tremendous style on land and water.  His water entries cannot be beat.  Sport has a high energy level.  He achieved his AKC Master Hunter title at 3 years of age.  In winter field trial informals he has placed or jammed in the Open, Qualifying, Hunter, and Derby divisions. 

Sport’s sire, Rebel, was an accomplished AKC field trial champion, from a line of high talent champions.  His dam, Dazey, is an AKC Master Hunter.  She has a strong NAHRA, AKC and HRC pedigree.  Her sire, Scoop, was a NAHRA champion.  You can see Scoop featured in Richard Wolter’s Water Dog training videos.  Sport is a terrific hunt test dog and a wonderful hunting companion.  It is common for him to point birds in the field.  He quarters naturally.  He also energetically breaks through thick cover and cattails.

Sport is free of genetic imperfections.  He has OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) excellent hips and normal elbows, normal CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) is clear of the EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse) gene and the CNM (Canine Neuro Myopathy) gene.  He is on the CNM “white list”.

Sport is also a wonderful house dog and loves to please.  He is a happy dog, as indicated by his constantly thumping tail.  He insists on being part of the family.  He is friendly with family and friends.  You can frequently find him snuggling with his owners. 

Fischers Crosswind Cruze SH
Cruze has his AKC Senior Hunter title, he excels as a waterfowl retriever,  pheasant hunter and all around family dog.  He possess tremendous drive and trainability, he is an outstanding cripple finder/tracking dog.
